Picture this: You're at the forefront of innovation, tasked with crafting a game that pushes the boundaries of possibility, centered in Mediterranean waters while surrounded by top-tier mentorship, resources, and expert guidance. Sounds thrilling, doesn't it?
Gear up for this year's International Summer School on Artificial Intelligence and Games, organized by modl.ai and Innovation Keywords Studios! The 6th edition of the summer school will be held from June 17th to 21st, 2024, in Valletta, the heart of Malta. Whether you're an industrial game programmer, designer, or developer, or a graduate in computational intelligence, AI, and games, this summer is the perfect opportunity for you to participate.
The summer school is organized by IDG's very own Georgios N. Yannakakis and Julian Togelius from NYU, both of whom have collaborated on numerous academic ventures before, such as writing the first comprehensive textbook called 'AI and Games textbook.' As such, the school is dedicated to facilitating AI techniques for and in games. From providing introductory background on AI and games to covering aspects of modeling players, content for games, and AI for playing games, this 5-day summer school covers all the basics and beyond on the subject!
The school also offers 10 full scholarships to support applicants who are able to emphasize the key role of the summer school in the development of their current and future prospects in AI for games.
